How to Use This Learning Environment

What Can We Help You With

When you login for the first time, you’ll have immediate access to your materials. Look under “My Courses.”

The program unfolds on a module-by-module basis. You will get access to all your content as you proceed through the course. You are upgraded to the next Module once you’ve had a chance to work your way through the previous Module and pass the quiz at the end. This ensures that you master the skills in your current Module before moving on.

Also, remember that you must log out of the site and back in to view new content. You may also need to refresh your browser to see new content if your browser has a tendency to hang on to sessions in cache.

The programs are self paced and fits right into your existing schedule. Each week, and at your own pace, you learn the skills you’ll. We believe that a realistic program should work for you, rather than requiring you to wrap your life around it.

For example with the Genie in Your Genes program, we recommend that you watch about an hour of video and do an hour of reading each week. You’ll complete this program in 4-6 weeks. The Energy Psychology Certification books in Modules 2 and 3 each take about 12 hours to read, and the videos about 4 hours to watch. We recommend that you give yourself a month to complete each of those 2 modules, including the quiz at the end.

If you are completing the Energy Psychology Certification, you can take the live workshops required for Module 5 any time during the course of the coming year. We recommend you complete at least Modules 1 and 2 before the workshop. In your final couple of months, you’ll write up the case histories required for Module 6. Most participants complete the Energy Psychology Certification program within 12 to 18 months.

Problems with watching a video or listening to an audio presentation is often the result of 1 of 5 scenarios:

1. An out-of-date browser.

You can update your browser by visiting one of these websites:

2. A slow Internet connection.

If this is the case, try pressing play and then letting the video load on your computer. You’ll see a progress bar at the bottom of the screen that will change color as the video loads. After it’s fully loaded, it should play. The same goes for audio, click on play and let it sit for a bit before assuming it won’t play.

3. An incompatible mobile device or incompatible mobile browser app.

If this is the case, please use this site on a laptop or desktop computer with a major browser. (The site supports all major browsers).

4. Ad Blocking software has been enabled that is blocking the video from playing.

Either turn off ad-blocking software or “white list” and in your approved server list. Be sure that private browsing or incognito mode is also turned off.

A good test to perform when you are having audio or video issues before you contact support is to hop on over to YouTube and see if any of the videos featured there are working for you.

No. You cannot download the videos. They remain a part of the online course. However, if you save the video page as a favorite or a bookmark so you can get back to that page quickly by simply logging to play that video again.

You download an audio presentation by right clicking on the audio player and choosing “download” to download the audio file to your computer. Pay attention to where your computer is saving the file so you and find it later.

For PDF, choose the download icon in the upper right or right click anywhere on the pdf to download it to your computer.

To find recent download on your device, a lot depends on how you downloaded it. Typically, look in your computer’s default “Downloads” or “My Documents” folder. You can also search the term “Energy” in the search function on your computer. But it s also possible that your download went into the same folder as the last download you performed on the same device.
